"When it rains it pours", that's a timely statement given the weather we've been experiencing of late but in this case it relates to losing, not one, not two, but three Board members, practically at the same time. All selling up and moving out of the neighborhood and thus having to resign their seats.
We are looking for volunteers to fulfil the following roles:
Director of Architectural Control Committee (role details)
Director of Welcoming & Membership Committee (role details)
Director of Clubhouse and Common Grounds Committee (role details)
We recognize that you all have busy lives and we are working hard to simplify and automate many of the tasks. We are using technology to help achieve that. We are also looking at offloading some of our Board's tasks onto our property manager.
If you have 2- 3 hours per week that you would be willing to give to the Board to help with the smooth running of our neighborhood, by its members, then we'd love to hear from you.

You do not need experience as a Board member, as we will take you under our wing and train you, but we do ask that you are a self stater, can work with minimum supervision, work well in a mostly remote setting and have at least a basic working knowledge of computers, documents and spreadsheets and are comfortable using them.
It might well be that we can continue to operate with a reduced Board membership, but I feel that it is important to point out that every task we do not do ourselves, we will have to pay someone to do. That knowledge is not lost on the Board as we continue to prepare our budget for the 2024 fiscal year.
