Board member elections: There are two (2) candidate applications for the three (3) open Board positions therefore we have requested that Sentry DO NOT mail ballots out to homeowners this year. Unfortunately we were too late to stop 406 of them from being printed so will still incur some costs.
Violation Notices: In an effort to reduce costs we have instructed Sentry to email violation letters to homeowners that have opted in to receive email communications. Where they have not, regular posted mail will still be used. It is on you to check your email. This Board will never overturn fines issued by the fining committee.
Annual Meeting: The Annual Meeting of the Association is scheduled for 6.30pm on Wednesday March 29th. https://www.fairway-springs.com/event-details/fairway-springs-annual-meeting-2023-03-29-18-30

Exterior Pool Furniture (Ibiza by Grosfillex $773.29; Atlanta by Grosfillex $2,077.62; Nautical by Polywood $2,435.32). Motion made to accept the bid from Nautical for $2,435.32. Motion carried 5-2.
Clubhouse division walls: Motion to accept the bid from Carlson Painting for $1,988 with paint color accessible beige (SW 7036). All were in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
Printable Newsletter: An attempt has been made and it is attached here. There are many issues, not least timeliness of content that need to be addressed/overcome. We request your feedback. (please take to the comments below)
Clubhouse refrigerator: The freezer was not defrosting and ice blocked the vent and refrigerator fan. Cost of repairs, now completed, is approximately $350.
Landscaping Mulch: Helpful neighbors donated ~9 yards of hardwood mulch from a stump grinding on a removed tree that should save Landscaping some money for mulching to prevent invasive growth around the front entrance. Thank you to the Wheeler's.

Entrance Median Irrigation: Last week our main irrigation line blew a huge break in the median up front. Water was flowing down to Crenshaw. We believe that approximately 5,000 gallons was lost. Prompt action by our Landscaping Director prevented it being more. The water was turned off at the meter and it was repaired that weekend. Huge thanks to Bob and to Fairway Springs neighbor John Litwak who pulled in and stopped, for the repairs being conducted so quickly. John waived payment in support of keeping costs down.
