Your Board don't always have meetings but when they do, it's a meeting. This is NOT A MEETING - It's just a casual, no need to dress fancy, Friday night, hang out. It beats getting in a car and heading out on to 54 doesn't it? What could be better? We'll feed you too. At least with nibbles and a couple of drinks.
