Statement of Policy

It shall be the policy of this Homeowners Association that a Newsletter shall be published periodically for the benefit of Fairway Springs to contain information regarding activities within the community and items of interest to the community.

Implementation

8/6/87
The Newsletter shall be distributed to all residents (members and nonmembers) of Fairway Springs.

6/22/89
The Board voted unanimously not to distribute the Newsletter to resident nonmembers of the Fairway Springs Homeowners Association.

11/16/89
Advertising will not be permitted in the Newsletter.

11/21/91
The expenditure of approximately $100.00 per month to have the Newsletter printed by an outside printing company was approved.

5/18/00
Motion carried to amend the amount allocated for printing the Fairway Springs Newsletter by an outside printing company from $100 to $125 per month.

11/16/00
Motion carried to amend the amount allocated for printing the Fairway Springs Newsletter by an outside printing company to a top of $150 per month.

3/22/01
Motion carried to amend the motion of 6/22/89 that stated, no nonmembers were to receive the Newsletter, to nonmembers are to receive the Newsletter.

5/16/02
Motion carried to purchase a new copy machine with the capability to do the Newsletter instead of having it done at an outside vender.

5/27/03
The Fairway Springs Newsletter will be printed by an outside vender, “HOA Publishers” for $100 per printing, and $100 per mailing to members, with labels suplied by the treasurer.

Motion carried to amend 3/22/01 statement to read “nonmembers are not to receive the Fairway Springs Newsletter”.

Motion made and carried to amend 5/27/03 statement, now to read, “non-members ARE to receive the monthly Fairway Springs Newsletter”.
