CLUBHOUSE KEYS

Statement of Policy

It shall be the policy of this Homeowners Association that the chairman of the Clubhouse and Pool committee shall be responsible for control of key(s) to the Clubhouse and that possession of key(s) shall be limited to those individuals and organizations demonstrating a need for access. When the need is concluded, the key(s) shall be returned to the chairman of the Clubhouse and Pool Committee.

Directors and Officers shall be issued keys to the Clubhouse outer doors and to those other doors and/or cabinets for which there is a demonstrated need (for example, only the treasurer and president require a key to the cash box residing in the office desk). All keys are to be returned by the Directors when their terms expire. Other individuals, including those individuals who represent recognized organizations or functions, will be issued key(s) to the outer doors at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

All recipients of keys to the Clubhouse outer doors or other doors and/or cabinets must return the keys to the chairman of the Clubhouse and Pool Committee when their need for access is concluded.

Implementation

9/26/91
Individuals who have received permission from the chairman of the Clubhouse and Pool Committee to use the Clubhouse for a private purpose may, at his/her discretion, be provided a key to the outer door for use during the limited duration of the private purpose.

3/24/94
All Directors and representatives of social groups issued keys are required to sign a prepared form for accountability. It is imperative that the chairman of the Clubhouse and Pool Committee knows where these keys are at all times.
